Hawaii may be under attack. “Ballistic missile threat inbound for Hawaii- take immediate shelter. This was the message received on every single mobile phone at 8.07 am this morning in the US State of Hawaii.
A minute later the entire 911 phone system broke down and calls to Emergency defense remained unanswered.Civil defense and authorities seem to be unavailable in Hawaii at this time, but phone lines and internet is up and running.
A tweet was seen by Hawaii Emergency Management Agency’s 22 minutes later and only said, there was no threat.
No official all clear on the emergency reverse 911 system has been issued. Officially Hawaii remains under nuclear attack alarm.
The emergency response system usually available on all TV programs had no information posted, leaving ten thousands of citizens and visitors unsure and in a state of panic.
Travel and tourism in Hawaii is learning how a technical error may be able to put tourism safety on the line. In the meantime 911 still remains down in Hawaii.
The word is, this was an exercise to test the network and it went public by mistake.
