Saudi Arabia bombs infrastructures in Yemen and the Yemenis are even prohibited from importing their basic requirements, says an analyst.
“They (the Saudi authorities) are denying them (the Yemeni people) the very basic human rights,” Riaz Karim told Press TV on Tuesday.
Saudi Arabia and its allies have put Yemen under a severe areal and naval blockade for over 900 days, while the Yemenis are in dire need of importing medicine and food from overseas, the director of Veritas Center For Strategic Studies said.
Saudi Arabia along with his allies has been pounding Yemen since March 2015 in an attempt to crush the popular Houthi Ansarullah movement and reinstate the former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, who is a staunch ally of the Riyadh regime. More than 12,000 people have been killed since the beginning of the campaign.
