Alain St . Ange, the previous Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviators, Ports and Marine of the Seychelles, and now one of the seven candidates for that position of Secretary General from the UNWTO (United Nations World Travel and leisure Organization) was on the panel associated with speakers at the PATWA (Pacific Region Travel Writers Association) Summit with regard to World Tourism & Aviation Commanders on Peace, The Vehicle for Travel and leisure organized on the sidelines of ITB in Berlin.
PATWA believes the benefit that a vibrant travel and leisure industry has on a nation’ s i9000 economy is only the tip of the iceberg, and that tourism should become the push on the promotion of world serenity and the building of understanding plus interdependence between nations. It was, consequently , not surprising to see Dr . Taleb Rifai, the SG of the UNWTO, individually gracing this event, and Anita Mendiratta of TASK CNN to be the pemandu of the summit.

Ange said that he expectations to work closely with such systems as PATWA if he works to be elected as SG from the UNWTO. “ We need to salute the particular efforts of such organizations because PATWA and recognize the good function they are doing to keep tourism as well as the good virtues of this great market visible, ” St . Ange from the Seychelles said.
