Tourism WA chief Nathan Harding said the Tokyo service was “ an incredible Christmas present for the tourism industry”.
“We have been very, very worked up about the we&rsquo and announcements;re very confident that new, daily service will be an excellent success,” Mr Harding said. “Japanese travellers shall love Western Australia. This new, direct service allows us to start that market really.
“It will allow us to operate a vehicle literally thousands of extra Japanese visitors and create a huge selection of extra jobs as the result of this agreement.”
