Alphons makes strong pitch to improve inflow of Chinese tourists to India

BEIJING: Tourism Minister KJ Alphons on Tuesday made a solid pitch to improve the inflow of Chinese tourists to India as he highlighted India’s diversity and assured the perfect security to visitors.

The minister also invited the Chinese businessmen to purchase India’s burgeoning tourism sector.

Alphons is visiting Beijing currently, Wuhan and Shanghai alongside about 20 leading Indian travel companies in a bid to galvanise efforts to improve the quantity of Chinese tourists to India which includes not registered any major increase despite New Delhi providing several facilities including held a large roadshow in Beijing
