Bahrain Tourism : Certificates distributed to Copperworks Workshop Trainees

Manama, Apr. 30 (BNA): As part of its ongoing efforts to preserve Bahrain’s handicrafts and traditional industries for future generations and to promote local artisan goods, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), represented by the Department of Handicrafts, distributed certificates to its copper works workshop participants.The ceremony, held on the 20th of April 2017 at Al Jasrah Handicrafts Centre, distributed certificate to 17 trainees. The workshop, presented by professional trainer Mohammed Ibn Sulaiman from the Kingdom of Morocco, lasted for three weeks and dealt with various techniques in the handicrafts field.“This workshop dealt with various methods and techniques in the art of copper work, where Bahraini art students across various skill levels benefited from the training.
