Fears grow for Liverpool Blue Coat pupil amid possible sighting

A teenager who vanished after leaving Liverpool grammar school The Blue Coat almost a fortnight ago has been spotted amid growing police concerns.

Thomas Lloyd, 14, is at the centre of a Merseyside Police missing person appeal after vanishing after leaving the the top performing school in Church Road, Wavertree on Thursday, January 11.

Today police said they are “increasingly concerned” about the teenager who was reportedly seen in Hunts Cross.

Police said the reported sighting was in Hunts Cross Asda on Friday, January 19 and he was described as “looking unkempt”.

Confirming the sighting police urged Thomas or anyone who knows where he is to get in touch.

“Again, Thomas, or anyone who has seen him or knows his whereabouts, is urged to contact 101 or the Missing People Charity on 116 000, “ a spokesman said.

Thomas is from Warrington but has links to Liverpool, Halewood and Salford.

The schoolboy is described as 5ft 7in tall, with a slim build, and long curly black hair. When he went missing he was wearing a blue blazer, black trousers and black shoes.
