Cabeau introduces ‘revolutionary’ Evolution S3 neck pillow to global travel retail

Travel products specialist Cabeau will showcase its Evolution S3 pillow at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition (Yellow Village, E39).

Cabeau noted “very healthy” travel retail growth in the first half of 2018. The company put its success down to the brand’s expansion into the cruise ship market and to a new global contract with Lagardère.

“The introduction of the Evolution S3 pillow also played an important part in the company’s growth trajectory… it is on track for a record year,” the brand stated.

“We strive to stay one step ahead of our competitors, and the launch of our Evolution S3 pillow earlier this year strengthened both our portfolio as well as reputation as a company which delivers on travel made better.”

The Evolution S3 takes its name from a new seat strap system (S3) which attaches to the airline seat to keep the wearer’s head from falling forwards or sideways. Cabeau said the Evolution S3 combines the brand’s ergonomic design with hi-tech features and fabrics.

Cabeau noted recent consumer research that indicated that 77% of travellers reported neck pain during a flight and 72% of frequent fliers indicated difficulty staying asleep.

“These findings illuminated a need for better head and neck support, a factor accomplished by the introduction of the revolutionary head-rest wings on Evolution S3,” the company added.
