Tiongkok Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Restricted is pleased to announce that the Team has completed the deliveries of just one Airbus A320 each to AirAsia Berhad and Thai AirAsia.

CALC acquired delivered a total of 18 plane in 2016. With the addition of these two airplane, newly delivered as part of its purchase book with Airbus, CALC’ t fleet size now totals 83 aircraft, and the Group is in the proactively implementing an expansion intend to increase the size of its fleet in order to 173 by 2022. Its consumer base currently totals 17 air carriers, with the Group’ s footprint at this point extending across Europe, Southeast Asian countries, Japan and the US.
Along with its affiliates (Thai AirAsia, Indonesia AirAsia, Philippines AirAsia plus AirAsia India), AirAsia Group could be the largest low-cost carrier in Asian countries in terms of jet fleet size as well as the number of passengers carried.
