On International Women’s Day, we celebrate and draw inspiration from the trailblazers who paved the way, while recognizing the great work that lies ahead. In 2018, vulnerable people—many of them women and girls—continue to be trafficked for sex in the United States. Shamefully, many are sold online by websites that knowingly facilitate their purchase. That’s why today we are calling on our supporters to take action and help end the sale of women, girls, and all people online in the United States.
If you believe that no human being should be bought or sold, then help us pass FOSTA-SESTA, a bill package that will provide a pathway to justice for survivors of trafficking.
Call/Tweet/Facebook your Senators to confirm they will vote YES when FOSTA-SESTA comes to the Senate Floor. Take Action
“For a very long time, Backpage has been making a tremendous profit from sexual abuse of countless women and children. It is imperative that Backpage is held accountable for its nefarious actions—that is justice for its victims.” — Iryna, Survivor-Advocate
