Chrissy Teigen misses her Neopets very much

Yesterday, the world was shocked when The Outline dropped a bomb on us.

Neopets, the beloved virtual pet website of the 2000s, was run by Scientologists.

Naturally, when the news broke across the web, Queen of the Internet, Chrissy Teigen had something to say.

Sure, the Scientology website says that they do use medicine in cases of actual illness and are just against recreational drug use. But many might doubt their definition of “actual illness.”

Anyway — commenting on this breaking story got Teigen nostalgic for the blissful era of Neopets.

Just in case you doubted her credentials, Teigen pulled out her Neopets resumé and then decided she was gonna kick back and revisit Neopia.

In case you were wondering, no, Neopets has not changed since the mid-2000s.

She started to get super nostalgic, though unfortunately the other 58 parts of this Twitter thread don’t actually exist.

C’mon, Chrissy, we want all your Neopets binge details. Take us on the nostalgia train to Neopia.

Some users shared some very real Neopets concerns.

But one user realized that this is a very unifying experience — at the end of the day, we are just all humans who play Neopets.

Thank you, Chrissy, for turning the potentially horrifying news about the Neopets Scientology scheme into a lovely trip to our younger years. Now go feed your Aishas.
