In recognition of the 35th anniversary of National Travel and Tourism Week, May 6 – 12, 2018, the City of Prescott and the Prescott Chamber of Commerce on Monday, May 7, launched the Prescott Heritage Trail with a presentation and ribbon cutting at the trail’s starting point, just outside the Chamber’s visitor center — 117 W. Goodwin St., in downtown Prescott.
The Prescott Heritage Trail is a self-guided tour, developed for residents and visitors to explore Prescott’s many fascinating locations and history. The trail currently has 25 stops and more are expected to be added over time.
A map for the trail is available at the visitor center and at this URL.
For more on the trail, see The Courier’s April 24, 2018, news report.
A video of Monday’s presentation is available here.
In the fall, the “Hunt for History” is planned to be added to the trail, so as the fall season nears, look for more information in The Courier about the new addition to the trail.
