The 249th vessel to embark under the Cunard banner, Queen Anne, commenced its journey shortly after 9 pm local time yesterday, while numerous onlookers assembled on the coastlines to witness its departure from various advantageous locations throughout the city and along Southampton water. Passengers aboard the 3,000-guest, 113,000-ton ship are poised to relish in an extraordinary send-off celebration, with festivities persisting throughout the voyage, encompassing a remarkable Maiden Gala Evening and captivating performances by the esteemed tenor, Russell Watson.

Luxury British cruise line’s newest ship embarked on a seven-night journey to Lisbon via La Coruna on May 3, followed by a visit to the captivating Portuguese city on May 7. Subsequently, it will commence a 14-night expedition to the enchanting Canary Islands.
