DFW Airport plans to include four gates at Terminal D to handle rising travel
DFW AIRPORT TERMINAL plans to include four new gates to its international-focused Terminal D because the increasingly crowded airport continues to consider methods to accommodate rising passenger traffic.
The addition will be built on the southeast corner of Terminal D, which includes 28 gates now. The terminal may be the airport’s main hub for international arrivals and departures, but supports some domestic flights also.
The new gates are anticipated to be operational in 2022 and may support both narrow- and wide-body aircraft. Your final price is not disclosed, because the airport is in negotiations with contractors still.
