President Donald Trump said on Monday that he may travel to occupied Jerusalem in May for the official opening of the new US Embassy to Israel.
“We’re looking at coming. If I can, I will,” he said during a meeting at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Efe reported.

Trump didnot specify whether he would travel to Jerusalem in May or sooner, given that his administration’s intention is to send just a small delegation from the US diplomatic mission comprised of the ambassador and a few advisers to the Jerusalem ceremony, while the new embassy itself is under construction.
The President said, however, that the new embassy will be built very quickly.
