Dubai: Bringing positive energy and happiness to the workplace is an ideology that organisations strive to follow – even Dubai Police has joined the bandwagon.

On its Twitter account, Dubai Police has posted photos of its remodelled headquarters in Deira, filled with colourful chairs, dartboards and flowers to promote positivity among officers.

There were also some departments that had its boardrooms transformed into a park, with artificial grass, beanbags and a picnic table.

A hall was also turned into a traditional majlis, with benches and cushions, which were accompanied with a mural of the beach with dhows and palm trees.

At the entrance of Dubai Police’s Social Club hangs a quote of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which reads: “Positive energy offers you a beautiful perspective on life and arms you with the ambition, drive and motivation you need to succeed.”

The online Arabic news outlet Akhbar Alemarat posted a video of how the headquarters of Dubai Police now looks like.
