Emirates has extended a significant fare discount with a newly launched campaign to promote multiple ticket sales directly among retail buyers in Thailand.
The heavily discounted fares apply to group bookings of two to nine passengers at the same time.
The fares offered by one of the world’s fastest-growing full-service airlines are even lower than those quoted by no-frills carriers.
For instance, an average round-trip fare for Bangkok-Hong Kong on Emirates goes for 6,210 baht in economy class and 14,435 baht in business class (inclusive of airport passenger charges and surcharges).
Emirates’ Bangkok-London fare averages 26,725 baht in economy and 94,900 baht in business.
These fares are subject to foreign exchange rates applicable on the booking date at Emirates’ website.
The fares are not available through travel agents, according to an Emirates Thailand representative.
Emirates said the tickets are available from April 19 to May 9 and are valid for travel from April 24 to Dec 15, but only for group bookings of up to nine passengers.
The campaign covers all of Emirates’ most popular destinations, including Paris, Los Angeles, New York and Hong Kong.
Emirates operates seven flights a day from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport to the carrier’s main hub in Dubai.
Six flights are operated by the iconic Emirates Airbus 380 and the other by a Boeing 777.
