Get ready for a slippery morning commute.
Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory as up to 10 centimetres of snow fell in the region Wednesday morning.
The agency said a band of heavy snow is creating poor visibility on roads throughout the region. A quick burst of up to 10 centimetres is likely before the streamer moves northeast later this morning, Environment Canada said in a statement.
A special weather statement has been issued for London, Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Huron and Perth counties.
All London District Catholic and Thames Valley District school board buses started on time this morning.
