The French don’t like speaking in foreign languages, however the host of a favorite comedy show remembered his English lessons and pulled no punches in the telling US President Donald Trump he wasn’t welcome in Paris.
The ‘Quotidien’ (Daily) program aired on TMC channel before Trump’s arrival to France for the Saturday’s 100th anniversary because the armistice of World War I.
The host, Yann Barthes, began his show in French, but switched to English in order that the US President then, whom he claimed could’ve been on the list of viewers, would understand him.
“Hey, hey all! Welcome to TMC Channel. My name is… Sean,” Barthes said and introduced most of his co-hosts using fake Americanized names like “Ashley,” “Clarissa” and “Hot Bunny.”
“We all work with the porn industry in France here. You found the proper place because we like your look right from the start,” he said, with the remark accompanied by a montage of exclamations along with other unintelligible noises extracted from the Trump’s public speeches.
After that, Barthes instructed Trump on how best to find Fox News on TV at his Paris hotel. But then switched his tone suddenly, saying: “Oh, and something very last thing. Go and f*** yourself. You’re not welcome in this national country.” The crowd in the studio erupted in laughter and applause.
