MSC Cruises, the Swiss-based world’s largest privately-owned cruise line and brand market leader in Europe, South America and South Africa, today announced that former soccer star Hristo Stoichkov will set sail aboard MSC Divina to host a special soccer themed, seven-night Caribbean cruise beginning on May 27 from Miami.
Regarded as one of the best forward players of his generation, Stoichkov is widely considered the best Bulgarian footballer (soccer player) of all time and one of the most recognizable players for FC Barcelona, earning him the esteemed Ballon d’Or in 1994.

Stoichkov’s accomplished career inspired a loyal following among soccer fans, and although he retired his cleats in 2003, Stoichkov still serves the game as a commentator for Univision Deportes.
