Folks planning flights to holiday destinations will see their trip a far more pleasant experience by following some travel tips provided by officials at Fairbanks AIRPORT TERMINAL.

Check flight status before leaving for the airport and join flight alerts on your own cellular phone also.

In carry-on bags, pack liquids, aerosols, gels, creams and pastes in containers bigger than 3 no.4 ounces to make sure compliance with the liquids rule. All liquids must easily fit into a one-quart clear bag. This rule will not connect with checked baggage.

At the security checkpoint remove all electronics bigger than a cellular phone and the liquids bag from carry-on baggage.

Wrapped gifts are permitted in checked or carry-on baggage.
