This group of friends took Facebook stalking to the next level when they reached out to a complete stranger… and invited him on their pre-booked holiday.
When their friend dropped out of their Spanish holiday, a group of 10 mates thought it would be a shame to let the ticket and hotel reservation go to waste. So they got on Facebook to find another Joe McGrath to take his place.
Joe McGrath from Manchester never thought he would receive a message with this kind of offer.
And a week later, McGrath was headed to Bristol for an impromptu holiday.
“Although I had my doubt if the offer was legit, I decided to take the plunge,” he wrote on his Facebook page. “I drove down to Bristol on Saturday night and had a mad three days with complete strangers that I think I can all my good friends.”
It looked like the group had an absolute blast taking in the sun and waves in Mallorca.
This kind of thing just doesn’t happen. McGrath is one lucky Joe.
“What a mega group of people! I loved every minute of it. I want to apologise to my mum who thought I knew these people all along.”
Mashable has reached out to McGrath.
