Heathrow has today unveiled its newest Christmas advert, which adds another tale fully life of Britain’s much-loved bears; Edward and doris Bair.

The pair, who’ve starred in the airport’s last two Christmas TV adverts, year time for the united kingdom from their Florida home after desiring the quintessential British Christmas are this.
The advert opens with Edward bathing in the rays on a lilo, wearing festive swimming shorts and applying layers of tanning oil.
After hearing the sound of carols, talking with family and seeing images of home, each one of these little touches remind The Bairs that Christmas in sunlight is simply not the same. From memories of cosy stockings and fires hung, to drinking mulled wine and the grandchildren playing, Edward and doris know very well what they have to do to create it Christmas; ensure it is Home.
Set to the 80’s classic of Paul Young’s ‘Every right time You Go Away’, The Bairs rush themselves towards the British twilight back, arriving into Heathrow – exactly the same location their eyes met and their love story began 50 years back.
Paul Young, singer, songwriter and musician comments: “’EACH AND EVERY TIME You Go Away’ premiered over thirty years back in 1985 first. So much has changed since that time, nevertheless the feeling of family members going continues to be exactly the same away. I’m delighted that it’ll feature on Heathrow’s Christmas advert which brings alive those feelings for Doris, Edward and the Bair family”.
Ross Baker, Heathrow’s Chief Commercial Officer said: “The nation’s love for Edward and Doris is overwhelming and contains been since we first met them in 2016. For most people, being near to the ones we love is why is Christmas special really. That is why The Bairs have emerged by us go back to their family from warmer climes, as much of Heathrow’s passengers make similar journeys home for the yuletide season.”
The advert sees the re-ignition of the partnership between film and Heathrow direction by DOM&NIC through Outsider Productions and animation from The Mill. Creative was led by advertising agency Havas London.
