A new released study by Emory University professor Michael Lewis took on the task of evaluating the best and worst NFL fan bases, and one of his criteria evaluated a team’s “road equity.” Focused on “how teams draw on the road,” the study found that the three reigning NFL teams are the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Oakland Raiders. And just as important to highlight are those teams that don’t seem to have the same appeal for attracting a following on the road, and those are the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks.

The SEC teams leading the charge are the Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU Tigers, and Texas A&M.
