Culture and tourism have already been defined as key drivers in a bid to transform the socio-economic fortunes of Plateau state and by extension, Nigeria.
This resolve by the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong alongside culture and tourism experts was corroborated by the Director-General further, National Council for Culture and Arts, Otunba Segun Runsewe while delivering a speech initially Plateau Tourism Conference held in Jos with the theme: Unlocking the vast potentials of tourism as a financing option for sustainable social-economic development.
Runsewe who was simply among the speakers at the occasion, commended the governor for looking in direction of culture and tourism while seizing as soon as to inform the planet that Plateau was safe and ready for business using its vast potentials in culture and tourism destinations.
The NCAC chief debunked stories making the rounds that hawaii was in crisis stating he wouldn’t normally have travelled to Plateau together with his staff for the conference if hawaii had not been safe.
Runsewe added his voice to many other speakers at the function who collectively expressed determination going to the bottom running by dealing with the governor to advertise Plateau to all of those other world.
He was positive that with the brand new interest and efforts from stakeholders, Plateau is now able to assume the status of a tourism and culture hub in Nigeria.
