The “Love Boat” line, Princess Cruises, has just announced that their 2026 European cruise and cruise tour season for that year will be their largest ever. Five Princess cruise ships, including the impressive new Sun Princess, will be sailing the region. With a staggering 222 cruises planned, guests will have unparalleled opportunities to discover the beauty and diversity of Europe.

From March to November 2026, the European season will offer 59 unique itineraries, covering 101 destinations across 29 countries. These itineraries range from five to 42 nights, ensuring a variety of options for travelers. Some of the highlights of the upcoming season include the chance to witness the total solar eclipse of 2026, the opportunity to sail on the newest Princess ship – Sun Princess, and the return of roundtrip cruises from Copenhagen, as well as new itineraries from Rome.

Sun Princess, the advanced Love Boat by Princess Cruises, is set to embark on 7-, 14-, and 21-night voyages in the Mediterranean, with departures from Civitavecchia (Rome), Piraeus (Athens), and Barcelona. Travelers on the 14- and 21-night trips will experience a unique itinerary that does not revisit any ports, offering a truly grand Mediterranean adventure.

The 2026 itinerary includes a 28-night voyage through Northern Europe and the Mediterranean. Departing from Southampton, the cruise will visit Skagen, Copenhagen, Warnemunde (for Berlin), Stockholm (with an overnight stay), Helsinki, Tallinn, Visby, Zeebrugge (for Brussels/Bruges), Southampton, Vigo, Cadiz (for Seville), Malaga, Cartagena, Gibraltar, Lisbon, Bilbao, and Le Verdon (for Bordeaux). The departure date is September 12, 2026.

The 3,560-guest Majestic Princess is embarking on its inaugural roundtrip journey from Southampton, presenting British Isles and Northern Europe routes spanning 11, 12, and 14 nights. Travelers on British Isles expeditions will visit significant ports in England, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland, whereas those on Northern Europe itineraries will explore Scandinavia, Iceland, the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium.

Guests will have the option to enhance their Europe cruise experience by adding several days on land to explore different parts of the region. There are five different cruisetours available for guests to choose from. They can opt to discover the vibrant city of Madrid on the Highlights of Spain cruisetour, visit the iconic cities of Florence and Rome on the Classic Italy cruisetour, explore the beautiful Mediterranean destinations on the Best of Greece cruisetour, or admire the stunning landscapes of Ireland on the Ring of Kerry cruisetour.
