Lilly Singh has her very own late night show now, and as she explains to fellow NBC host Jimmy Fallon in the interview above, she still has a lot of new stuff to learn.
But it sounds like the network has quite a bit to learn, too.
“The learning curve goes both ways. So I’m learning about unions, and rules, and laws,” says Singh in the clip above, “and they are learning about a female late night host!”
Singh goes on to list a few examples of things she’s had to teach the network so far while making A Little Late — starting with their ambitious plans for fitting 96 episodes worth of outfits in one go.
“It was suggested to me that I should do a single fitting for all 96 outfits,” explains Singh. “That would be like a four-day fitting!
“Also, and I love this one — I was told that there’s not a budget for a manicure, like to get my nails done, because the other late night hosts don’t have one!”
Fallon’s response? “Why don’t I have one! I want a mani-pedi!”
