BENGALURU: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy suggested to make Mysuru Dasara celebrations tourism centric.

The CM was addressing the high-level committee meeting on preparations for the Mysuru Dasara on Wednesday.

The chief minister suggested that programmes in Mysuru Dasara may be planned in such a way that it promotes tourism in Mysuru and neighbouring districts. He also advised to chalk out unique and innovative programmes as part of the celebrations.

Kumaraswamy expressed his happiness over good rains in Cauvery catchment areas and said that he is planning to offer pooja in Talakaveri, and Chamundeshwari temple in Mysuru and then present bagina to Krishnarajasagara and Kabini reservoir on July 20.
