Marshall, Minnesota Travel and Tour Business Rises in Flames
A Marshall, Minnesota business suffered extensive damage early Tuesday morning (November 27) whenever a fire broke out at its company headquarters.
Southwest Tour and Travel suffered extensive smoke and fire damage in the building that houses their offices and tour buses.
Several emergency response crews were called to the scene early Tuesday morning (November 27) once the fire was initially was reported.
At enough time of the decision, temperatures in Marshall were in the mid-teens. Warming tents needed to be create for the initial responders.
Lyon County Emergency Management tells KSFY News firefighters along with other emergency responders be prepared to stick to the scene for many hours.
The building itself has been heavily damaged. The extent of harm to items in the building is unknown still.
Fortunately, there have been no reports of any injuries. The reason for the fire is under investigation still.
