From Feb 16 to March 2, Khao Wong Phra Chan, Lop Buri province’s highest mountain, will attract Buddhists and other visitors to climb to its peak and pay respects to a model of the Lord Buddha’s footprint during the annual religious festival.
At the foot of this mountain in Khok Samrong district is Wat Khao Wong Phra Chan. The top of the mountain can be reached via 3,790 steps. Upon arrival at the peak, visitors will be able to see panoramic views of Lop Buri, worship the Buddha’s footprint and Buddha statues and visit a museum.
Visitors can also join a walk and a cycling race from the foot of the mountain to the top, shop for food, One Tambon One Product (Otop) and local goods.

Local festival in Suphan Buri
From Feb 24-28, the “Looking Back at Yesteryears, Tasting Delicious Food, Experiencing The Local Way Of Life” fair will be held at the Song Phi Nong Municipality Office in Song Phi Nong district, Suphan Buri province.
Visitors are encouraged to wear traditional costumes to visit Talat Bang Li, aka a market of two seasons, in the retro atmosphere. You can try the community’s famous dishes, such as roasted suckling pig, coconut ice cream, grilled fish, honey roasted duck, oysters pan-fried with egg and longan juice.
Every night, there will be concerts by luk thung singers Tukkataen Chollada and Pujan Longmike and rock singer Pu Blackhead as well as shows by comedians Khom Chuanchuen, Ball Chuenyim and Robert Saikhwan. You can also enjoy shopping for Otop goods from all over Suphan Buri.

Techno in the park
From Feb 24-25, the “4th Kolour In The Park By Singha Music”, a major outdoor house and techno festival, will take place at Thai Wake Park in Lam Lukka Klong 6, Pathum Thani province.
Highlights of the annual event include DJs Mat.Joe, German duo Matze and Johannes, and the rhythmic soul and progressive hip-hop sounds from Berlin-based Thai techno icon DJ Nakadia.
Visitors can also enjoy exclusive parties with underground concepts, such as Kolour Warehouse, Kolour Live, Kolour Beachside and Kolour Sundays. There will be other activities mixing music, art, sport and interactive games, as well as lake swimming, art and crafts exhibitions and free massage.

Yachting in Phuket
From Feb 22-25, the third edition of the “Thailand Yacht Show” at Ao Po Grand Marina in Phuket province will feature premier yachting and luxury brands ranging from superyachts to latest models.
Local and international visitors can see and test boats and yachts, yachting toys and accessories, presented by leading boat and yacht dealers and brokers. There are also electric shows, parties and special events aboard yachts and floating nightclubs.
