Top Tech Deals

As part of their 12 Days of Deals, Amazon just kicked off a one-day sale on a variety of Logitech PC peripherals to fit just about any budget.

My favorite deal of the bunch is the Logitech Performance Mouse MX for $40, an all-time low. This mouse was succeeded by the MX Master Mouse, but it still has just about every feature you could want in an ergonomic mouse.

The C9X22 webcam is another impressive piece of hardware for $50, as it can automatically remove the background behind you without the use of a green screen, making it great for Twitch streamers.

There are a bunch of keyboards in this sale, but the two most popular will likely be the HTPC-optimized K400 for $18 (complete with a built-in trackpad), and the mobile-friendly K480 for $20.

If you’re still listening to your computer through its built-in speakers, it’s absolutely worth spending $54 on a good 2.1 channel audio setup.

For the rest of the deals, be sure to head over to Amazon. Just remember that these prices are only available today, and the best stuff could sell out early.

The most versatile member of Anker’s insanely popular PowerCore battery pack family pulls double duty as a USB wall charger, and you can save $8 on the white model with promo code XMAS1621.

I’ve owned the Fusion since it launched earlier this year, and it’s an indispensable part of my bag. Now, rather than traveling with a wall charger, a battery pack, and a microUSB cable to recharge said battery, all I need is the Fusion and my Apple charging cables. You can read all of my impressions here, and then head over to Amazon to get yours for $22.

The GoPro Hero5 Session is about as small as an action cam can possibly be, and yet it shoots gorgeous 4K/30 footage, and is as rugged as they come. It normally sells for $299, but Amazon’s marked that down by $100 today. For reference, this was $250 on Black Friday, but included a 16GB microSD card and a headstrap mount.

If you want the touchscreen control of the full-sized Hero5, it’s $100 off as well.

Of course, the GoPro HERO6 just came out, but unless you really need to capture 4K/60 footage, it’s probably not worth the price premium compared to these deals.

The recent release of Qi-compatible iPhones means that wireless charging pads will be popular stocking stuffers this holiday season, and you can get Anker’s 5W model for $19 right now, down from its usual $24. That’s only half as fast as their 10W model (currently $26), but it’s worth noting that iPhones max out at 7.5W wirelessly, and it’ll still be plenty fast for overnight device charging.

It should go without saying that digital photo frames make great gifts for parents and grandparents. But even I, a tech-savvy millennial, am pretty enamored with the Nixplay Iris. It usually sells for $200, but today’s Amazon Gold Box has it for $117-$130, depending on the color you choose.

They aren’t nearly as nice looking, but if you want something larger, you can also get Nixplay’s original 15″ frame (which sadly only boasts 1024×768 resolution) for $147, or a 13″ 1080p frame with Wi-Fi for $175. Honestly though, you should just buy the Iris.

Whether you need a small card for a dash cam, or a ton of space for Nintendo Switch games and 4K GoPro footage, these Samsung microSD cards are cheaper than they’ve ever been, in all four of the capacities listed below.

Featuring a customizable LED light show that pulses along with your music, the JBL Pulse 2 Bluetooth speaker is a self-contained party. $80 is easily the best price we’ve ever seen on this one, so this is a deal worth dancing to.

We thought Amazon was just about done with discounts on their own gadgets for the year, but a bunch of new deals launched this morning, some of which are actually better than Black Friday.

Check out all the device discounts here.

If you’re still wrestling with a terrible inkjet printer at home, do yourself a solid and pick up the reliable Brother HL-2380DW monochrome laser printer today for just $100 today.

While it doesn’t print in color, it more than makes up for that with the ability to spit out 32 pages per minute, duplex printing, and inexpensive toner cartridges that can last for years without being replaced. We’ve posted a lot of Brother deals in the past, and we’ve heard nothing but good things from readers about them. Plus, this particular model has a sterling 4.3 star review average on Amazon, a built-in scanner, and AirPrint and Google Cloud Print support, so it should serve you well for years.

If you like the idea of Philips Hue’s automation features, but don’t particularly care about exotic and colorful lighting concepts, you can pick up the Hue White starter kit for $50 today, about $20 less than usual, and a match for Black Friday. That gets you two soft white bulbs and a Bridge that lets you control them from your phone, or with voice assistants like Siri and Alexa.

The same kit with four bulbs is also available for $70, though it did get as low as $60 over Deals Week.

And if you missed it yesterday, the four-bulb color starter kit is still on sale for $140, or about $60 less than usual.

VPNs are in the news a lot lately, and whether you want to hide your tracks, or just watch videos that would otherwise be geoblocked, there are several great deals available out there to get you started.

If you can commit to five years, PureVPN is going to be your best bet at a measly $70, which works out to just $1.17 per month. PureVPN encrypts and obscures all of your internet traffic from everyone from malicious hackers to your ISP to the government, and includes some cool features like a kill switch to automatically disconnect your Wi-Fi if the VPN stops working, as well as split tunneling, which can route some of your traffic through the VPN, while letting the rest go through your ISP as normal.

If you don’t want to commit to the same company for that long, or would just prefer to use a different provider, NordVPN’s holiday offers are still in effect as well:

Lifehacker has recommended Nord in some previous guides, but if you have any firsthand experience with the service, sound off in the comments!

The Cabeau Evolution was your favorite travel pillow (by a long shot), and you can save 20% on yours today in a repeat of their Black Friday sale.

Unlike cheaper travel pillows that you have to inflate with air, the Evolution is made of memory foam, and wraps all the way around your neck to provide support no matter what direction your head falls when you nod off. You won’t win any fashion awards while you’re using it, but you won’t care, because you’ll be asleep.

These pillows hardly ever go on sale, so if you have any holiday travel plans on the horizon, you won’t want to miss out on this one.

Update: Back in stock for $31, if you missed it last week.

Victorinox’s Fibrox 8” chef’s knife is one of your favorite chef’s knives period, and by far the best value in the industry. It’s also the knife I’ve used almost every day for almost five years. Amazon has it for $31 right now, which is an absolute steal for the quality you’re getting.

You can also get a four-knife Fibrox set for $104, if you want to upgrade your entire collection.

Update: Sold out, but you can get the similar TP-Link Smart Plug Mini for just $1 more.

Not only is the new WeMo Mini Smart Plug smaller than the top-selling original so as to only cover one outlet, it’s also cheaper. You’ll usually see it available for $35, but today on Amazon, it’s knocked down to $26.

Despite its diminutive size, this includes all the same features as the full-sized WeMo Switch, including IFTTT support, Alexa compatibility, and an Away mode that will randomize your lights to deter ne’er-do-wells.

Furbo Dog Camera | $169 | Amazon

Has your dog been a very good boy this year? Consider treating him/her to this Furbo Dog Camera, which is back down to matching its lowest price of 2017.

It might seem a little ridiculous to some, but could be super helpful if your dog has separation anxiety or if you find yourself wondering what your pup does all day while you’re gone. After you connect the device to your home’s Wi-Fi, you can use the app to see, talk, and dispense treats to your dog. It even doubles as a security camera.

This was selling for $250 a few weeks ago and has very rarely been under $190, so today’s $169 price is something to wag your tail at.

A great gift for someone who loves their car, this complete car care kit comes with cleaning solution for the inside and outside, including a solution that can help remove paint transfer and fine scratches. This set normally costs $30, so today’s price of just $19 is a steal.

Today’s $5 price on this reusable set of silicone baking cups is an all-time low and is just in time for the height of holiday baking season. Plus, they would make great stocking stuffers for the baker in your life.

One of the only downsides of cast iron pans is that they can be a nightmare to clean, but this 4.7 star-rated chainmail scrubber can scrape away caked-on food without hurting your seasoning, or resorting to soap. No wonder a similar item is in our bestsellers club. Today’s $10 deal isn’t the lowest price we’ve ever seen, but is still a decent discount from its usual $15 price.

Giving a flask as a holiday gift might be a little bit iffy, but if you know someone that would like one, Stanley’s classic 8 ounce model has never been cheaper, as long as you don’t mind their iconic Hammertone Green color scheme.

You can’t control it from your smartphone like a Philips Hue Lightstrip, but this 16.4′, 300 LED light strand from Aukey can glow in several different colors, is capable of daisy chaining for longer stirps, and is even water resistant if you want to set it up on your patio. Oh, yeah, it’s also just $18 with promo code AUSALE07.

We’ve posted a lot of deals lately on these coccyx seat cushions, but $13 is one of the best prices we’ve seen to date. These will improve posture and ease back pain in any chair where you spend a lot of time, be it the office, the car, or eveno a long flight.

Leatherman’s widely-praised Skeletool Multitool doesn’t have nearly as many tools as some of its brethren, but the upshot is a smaller, lighter frame that you can carry anywhere (except, like, airports). Even if you don’t need one for yourself, this would be a great gift idea for $45, the best price we’ve seen in months, and $15 less than usual.

Guacamole and salsa taste better when served out of a molcajete. Everybody knows this. This 4-cup model looks great, and has never been cheaper.

Made by one of our best-selling brands, these two All-Clad skillets are selling for the lowest price ever today. The 8-inch and 10-inch skillets are nonstick, scratch resistant, and oven safe up to 500 degrees.

This package usually sells for $60, so get them while they’re still sizzling.

If you’ve been eyeing a KitchenAid mixer for a while, and don’t mind getting a refurbished one, then today is your day. You can pick up one from eBay for just $170, that’s $110 less than the new ones are selling for and $40 less than other refurbished models.

So go ahead and get yourself one, the color options might not last long.

No matter how great your kitchen knives are, they all need some tender loving care from time to time. This $7 Lansky BladeMedic includes two v-sharpeners, a fold-out sharpening rod, and a ceramic sharpening edge for serrated knives, all in a handheld package that can fit into any kitchen drawer.

This thing amazingly has a 4.6 star review average from over 3,000 customers, and it’s sold out within a few hours every time we’ve posted it at this price, so I wouldn’t wait.

Newbury Mills has quickly become one of our favorite shirt makers, with offerings that can be dressed up or down, worn tucked or untucked, and with or without a tie. They also resist wrinkles well and are 100% soft SUPIMA cotton. Our readers can grab three for $99, plus additional shirts for $33 each. Considering one shirt is normally priced over $80, this is a great opportunity to upgrade your entire wardrobe. Just be sure to add at least three to your cart (you can mix and match styles), and use promo code kinja330 at checkout to get the deal.

Maker of our best-selling boxer briefs, David Archy is discounting some of their micro fleece robes today. The men’s is just $30 with code 2017DA06, and available in three colors. The women’s is $28 with code 2017DA06 with two color options. So grab one as a gift and one for yourself. After the year we’ve had, everyone deserves a little relaxation time.

Most of the US got snow this weekend, which means you can no longer avoid the inevitable chill that comes with winter. The only remedy is to layer up and deal with it, which will be easier if you have the right layers (and no, multiple blankets while laying on the couch doesn’t count). Amazon has five different layers from Spyder, from tops to jackets, on sale today only.

Target’s Green Monday deal, $20 off every $100 you spend, has a pretty long exclusions list. What’s not included on that list? Apparel. If you need some last minute ideas, pick up a few sweaters or PJ sets or winter accessories and automatically save $20 when you spend $100, which won’t be hard seeing as their clothing selection is…overwhelming.

When it comes to inexpensive Sonicares, you basically have three choices.

  • The Sonicare Essence, which uses E-series brush heads, which only really come in one style. You can frequently get it for $20.
  • The Essence+, which has the same barebones feature set, but works with Sonicare’s entire line of brush heads. It’s often available for $25 with coupons.
  • The 2 Series, which is basically the same as the Essence+, but it comes with a travel charger instead of a bulkier charging base. On sale, you can often get it for $30.

Today though, the 2 Series is down to $20 for the first time, matching the best price we’ve ever seen on any Sonicare, and a no-brainer compared to the similarly-priced Essence. Just be sure to clip the $10 coupon to get the deal.

You probably already got your Bean boots from last year and are ready for whatever 2017 throws at you (weather-wise, at least). But if you need to replace a few things, or get some last minute gifts, L.L.Bean is giving you 25% off any order, plus free shipping, with the code HOLIDAY. Stave off the winter weather in the best way you know how.

Sunglasses may not seem like the best stocking stuffer, but when they’re all at incredibly affordable prices, it makes a lot of sense. Use the code STUFF35 and take 35% off Sunglass Warehouse’s already well-prices shades and maybe pick up some new ones for yourself while you’re at it.

ThinkGeek is helping the nerds in your life get ready for the holidays. Score up to 70% off of a ton of products and apparel during their Black Friday Sale. There are seriously hundreds of items to choose from, which means every corner of geekdom is covered by this sale.

Sephora isn’t known for their discounts and deals like other retailers, but they’re trying something new this year with their Weekly Wow deals. Every Thursday, Sephora will drop a bunch of deals and offers for one week only. This week features:

“No-iron shirts” have been around for so long that it seems almost ridiculous to buy anything else. Twillory takes that notion one step further by taking that no-iron notion and adding a bespoke feel.

These deals are all $10 more expensive than Black Friday, but with all three deals, you can add a set of Twillory’s unique bottle opening collar stays to your cart to get it for free. These stays sell for $19, and make great gifts, so you’re coming out ahead.

  • Two shirts for $99 with code KINJA2
  • Four shirts for $179 with code KINJA4
  • Five shirts for $209 with code KINJA5

Those codes should work with all the shirts they sell, so mix, match, and get creative (and don’t forget those collar stays). Shane reviewed these shirts over on Gear, so head over there to learn about what makes them so great.

Top Media Deals

Against all odds, the rebooted Planet of the Apes trilogy is actually extremely good, and you can get all three films on Blu-ray for just $18 right now.

Kindle Unlimited is basically Netflix for ebooks and audiobooks, and Amazon’s offering a very rare discount on the service today. You’ll save 30% on a years worth of Unlimited, taking the price down to just $84. If you love to read, this should pay for itself, and it would also make a great holiday gift for the bookworm in your life.

Calenders are really underrated holiday gifts. ThinkGeek is taking up to 33% off (yeah, idk) a ton of great ones, like Super Mario Bros., Bob Ross, Star Trek, and more. Most of them come in at the $10 mark, which makes them ideal for stocking stuffers or Secret Santa gifts.

Top Gaming Deals

We thought the days of $40 PlayStation Plus sales were behind us, but lo, here it is once again. If your membership is due to expire soon, or hell, even if it isn’t, you’ll want to take advantage of this.

If you’ve been keeping a lustful eye on the HTC Vive (and if you have a computer that can actually run the thing), it comes with a $100 Amazon gift card today, plus the deluxe audio headstrap for free (normally $100 by itself). That’s the best deal we’ve ever seen on the thing.

Learn a little a something from these discounted STEM toys. Amazon has a couple different K’Nex building sets, this National Geographic motorized model set, and a Makey Makey invention kit. But just to note, this is a Gold Box deal so it will only last until the end of the day or until the products sell out, so what are you waiting for?

Many of you won’t bat an eye in spending $50+ on a good gaming mouse, but don’t neglect the mouse pad! This extra long model from Corsair is available for $15 today, an all-time low.

The smaller version of this same mouse pad is also available for $10.

These were both available for a few bucks less on Black Friday, but other than that, these are very good deals, historically.

If you own more than one set of Joy-Con for your Nintendo Switch (and Mario Kart exists, so why wouldn’t you?), it can be a pain to keep the spares charged up. But this $20 stand from Hori can juice up two pairs at once while you play a game with the far superior Pro Controller.

If you’re into racing games, this Humble Bundle’s for you. Pay what you want today for titles from the F1, Grid, and DiRT series, plus more games. As always, you can choose your own price, but some titles are locked behind paywalls, the most expensive of which is $15 this time around.
