MSC Cruises is enhancing its presence at Port Canaveral by introducing a second ship, which will provide guests with an expanded range of cruise options. The MSC Grandiosa is scheduled to commence operations from the Port in December 2025, joining the MSC Seashore. The new ship will offer alternating 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, while the MSC Seashore will focus on 3- and 4-night cruises to Nassau and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise line’s private island in The Bahamas.
Rubén A. Rodríguez, the President of MSC Cruises USA, has announced that the upcoming Winter 2025-2026 season will be the company’s largest presence in the United States to date. This expansion includes a significant focus on Port Canaveral. Since MSC Cruises began operating from Port Canaveral in 2021, the feedback from guests has been overwhelmingly positive. They appreciate the convenience of sailing from this location and experiencing MSC Cruises’ unique international flavor. Recognizing the preferences of those sailing from Central Florida, MSC Cruises is pleased to offer two of their most modern and glamorous ships, featuring itineraries that cater to both first-time and seasoned cruisers.
