News: Intrepid Travel expands amount of woman-only tours

Following the launch of a limited-number of women-only tours in the centre East this season, leading experiential travel company Intrepid Travel has revealed that it’ll expand the quantity of departures following significant customer interest and bookings.

The itineraries, each guided by female tour leaders, try to breakdown cultural barriers in the destinations visited – Morocco, Jordan and iran – and provide an insight in to the traditions and routines of local ladies in each destination.

The tours allow travellers to gain access to areas that wouldn’t be possible with men in the combined group, for instance a cosmetic salon, female-only train carriage or perhaps a female-only park.
