It’s here, Android users. It’s finally here.
March 2, formerly known as the second day of March, is now a national holiday: The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are finally available for pre-order, and you can save $350. This is not a drill. (Find out pricing guides across all providers here.)
Okay so we made the holiday up, but who cares, because we’ll take any excuse to celebrate. Verizon knows that store lines on the S9’s official drop day (March 16) are going to be insane, so they’re offering a seriously sweet preorder deal: Save up to $350 on an S9 or S9+ when you trade in your old phone (you won’t be needing anymore anyway). Best of all, preordering ensures that you’ll have your new phone in your hands by March 14 — two days before the real drop day, which makes you hella fancy.
You may be wondering why the S9 is better than last year’s S8 — or why it could possibly be “Samsung’s best flagship phone yet.” Mashable’s Ray Wong went hands-on with the S9 and S9+ to get the scoop on those gorgeous curved displays. Check it out:
A 12 megapixel dual aperture camera? Dolby Atmos surround sound speakers? Creepily realistic AR emojis? We’re not drooling, you’re drooling.
And that’s not all: Verizon has some awesome deals on chargers, other Samsung devices, Bluetooth speakers, and more:
