Qatar Airways and China Southern Airlines have revealed the upcoming stage of their extensive partnership, featuring a codeshare agreement. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to improve travel choices and ease for passengers. The MoU establishes a structure for the two airlines to strengthen their market visibility and cooperation in cargo and frequent flyer programs.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, and China Southern Airlines President and CEO, Mr. Han Wensheng, officially signed the MoU representing their respective airlines.
Mr. Han Wensheng, the President and CEO of China Southern Air Holding Company Limited, said that the introduction of a direct route from Guangzhou to Doha by China Southern Airlines in April has significantly enhanced the connectivity between China and the countries and regions along the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’. Moving forward, China Southern Airlines aims to further collaborate with Qatar Airways, leveraging their respective strengths to provide our passengers with enhanced comfort and convenience during their travels.
