The partnership, in cooperation with the Retreat in the Pines Retreat Assistance Program, afforded five female veterans from the East Texas area the opportunity to attend a Retreat in the Pines Yoga Nurture Retreat. While there, they enjoyed home cooked meals, renewing yoga, time in nature and connection with other women.

Theresa Polley, owner and founder of Retreat in the Pines, established the Retreat Assistance program because she believes that it’s essential for ALL women to have the opportunity to retreat, no matter their background or financial means.
