The first day from the Vakantiebeurs is dedicated to the professionals as well as the other 5 days is available to the public with Friday evening getting the longest day where it’ s open until 8pm. It was the 06th year that the Travel and leisure Board participated and had with us for the stand as partner the Guttersnipe Hotel who were represented by Mrs. Sandra Ober and Mr. Ramesh Mawood. On the STB side, the particular fair was attended by Older Marketing Executive Ms. Christine Vel and Marketing Executive Ms. Mavreen Pouponneau.

The turnout for the fair in general was good and same goes for the Seychelles stand where we had a lot of interest especially with our very colourful system. Our positioning which was right at the particular entrance was an extra plus for all of us. There was a lot of interest from individuals wishing to combine with safaris in The african continent especially those going to South Africa who are able to then hop on the Air Seychelles trip. Honeymoon was also one of the main interests all of us got from the ‘ younger’ site visitors.
There is still an absence of awareness from the general public about the place of Seychelles geographically as this had been one of the main question asked but it seemed to be good that we were there as that will permitted us to broaden their particular knowledge and explain what the location has to offer. We find that in the Holland Tour Operators are mostly selling the best hotels so the public is not always aware that there are small affordable lodging as well which we could explain to all of them. To note that the very important and fascinating news was the introduction of the trip by Air Seychelles to Dusseldorf, this will be a great connection for the marketplace as Dusseldorf is just over one hour driving from the south of Holland.
