Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) has announced plans to launch the Tanzania Safari Channel in December, reports Nextvame. TBC will introduce the channel with assistance from Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA), Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA) and Tanzania Tourism Board (TTB).
The Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Adolf Mkenda, said the channel will be available for 24 hours a day and would air coverage of wildlife, historical sites and ruins, culture, marine parks and beaches. TBC will with a US digital cable and satellite television network for wildlife, National Geographic channel for content development and capacity building for the TBC crew, who will be preparing programmes for the new channel.
