Thailand's Tourism Authority Launches Domestic Tourism Campaign “Let's Go No Plans”
CHIANG RAI – Thailand’s Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched a fresh campaign called “Let’s go no plan” to encourage Thais to go to second-tier provinces.
TAT governor Yuthasak Supasorn said the campaign is aimed to improve domestic tourism through the high season before end of the initial quarter in 2019.
“This year, TAT invites Thais to go to tourist destinations over the national country. The campaign is likely to help distribute tourists out of crowded areas such as for example Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya and phuket,” he said.
TAT expects the campaign can help boost revenue for domestic tourism to attain 1 trillion baht because of this year as planned.
Under the campaign, TAT shall promote local culture, local food, local attractions and products to Thai tourists through various channels, online and social media marketing outlets mainly.
Earlier, the TAT unveiled a collaboration with the STOCK MARKET of Thailand to encourage more publicly listed Thai companies to arrange packages and corporate social responsibility activities in secondary provinces.
Thai Airways International (THAI) offers 20 domestic tour programs from today until Dec 31. Tours could be booked with THAI’s Royal Orchid Holidays, and travelers can select from a full-tour option or simply flights and accommodation.
