Tottenham Hotspur vs Everton LIVE – Team news and goal updates as the Blues travel to Wembley

Everton travel to Wembley stadium this afternoon to face Tottenham Hotspur as Sam Allardyce looks for his first win of 2018.

The Blues have had a tough start to the calendar year so far, with the club looking to put two defeats against Manchester United and Liverpool firmly behind them with a good result today.

It’s been almost 10 years since Everton last won away to Spurs with Steven Pienaar bagging the only goal on that day – but Mauricio Pochettino’s side have a far from convincing record at their temporary home this season…

Team news

Everton will be pleased to welcome back Idrissa Gueye to the squad after the midfielder missed last week’s Merseyside derby defeat with a hamstring injury.

New signing Cenk Tosun could be in line to make his Blues debut at Wembley stadium, but Allardyce will be without Michael Keane and Leighton Baines once more.

Spurs, on the other hand, have no new injury concerns – but Harry Winks, Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose will all remain sidelined.
