Tourism fees slashed in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is hoping to attract more tourism by reducing tourism fees.

Following a series of meetings and discussions conducted with local investors, the Abu Dhabi Executive Council has agreed to lower tourism fees from 6 percent to 3.5 percent and municipality fees from 4 percent to 2 percent.

The move comes as the destination is aiming to provide high-end tourist, leisure and cultural facilities at the best possible value for residents and tourists
