Tourism Projects Worth $10B Underway In Iran

Some 1,884 tourism projects valued at 430 trillion rials (nearly $10.2 billion) are underway in Iran, on Sunday tourism chief Ali-Asghar Mounesan said.  Projects including construction of hotels and eco-lodges along with projects aiming at attracting tourists already are underway and herald good days for tourism industry of the united states, CHTN quoted Mounesan as saying.

Before summer 2013 there have been 125 four- and five-star hotels in the united kingdom which has increased to 158 until now, he said, adding that the real amount of hotels are planned to improve to 280 next three years. in his remarks

Elsewhere, the tourism chief explained that foreign tourist arrivals in Iran has increased by 38 percent in the initial four months of the existing Iranian twelve months (started March 21) when compared to same period per year before.

He continued to state that in the last Iranian twelve months, year on year international tourist arrivals in Iran rose four percent.

“Domestic tourism can be of importance and will turn into a booming market…,” he added.speaking

Socially, tourism and handicrafts industry have stopped folks of small towns and villages to migrate to big cities and also reversed the procedure, Mounesan highlighted.

Iran has launched extensive plans to bolster its tourism sector. Beneath the 2025 Tourism Vision Plan, the national country is looking to increase the amount of tourism arrivals from 4.8 million in 2014 to 20 million.
