Tourism revenue grows in 2016

DeKalb County has seen a 4.3 percent annual growth in its tourism dollars over the past year, which comes out to $3 million more than 2015.

According to John Dersham, president and CEO of DeKalb Tourism, the recent economic report from the state revenue office shows DeKalb County’s tourism revenue up from about $79 million in 2015 to $82 million in 2016.
