Rail passengers are increasingly being warned to check on before they travel today because of group of engineering works on mainline and rural services to and from Norwich.

The most alterations affect routes from Norwich to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft and from Ipswich to Felixstowe and Lowestoft.

• Norwich to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft

Due to signalling works, no direct trains shall run between Buckenham, Cantley, Great and reedham Yarmouth. All Norwich to Great Yarmouth trains that went via Buckenham previously, Reedham and cantley will run via Acle.

Passengers from Buckenham, Cantley and Reedham desperate to happen to be Great Yarmouth should happen to be Brundall or Norwich and change trains for Great Yarmouth. As a result of changes journey times will longer be.

• Ipswich to Felixstowe and Lowestoft

As a complete result of a significant project work to improve train capacity between Ipswich and Felixstowe, throughout Sunday the line will undoubtedly be closed between Ipswich and Felixstowe Town.

Buses will replace trains between Ipswich and Felixstowe Town.
