Turkey’s culture minister invited to Kyrgyzstan as major investor in tourism
Bishkek, July 15, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev on July 11, 2019 met with Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the state of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of culture and tourism, in particular, through Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) under the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The parties noted that Kyrgyzstan and Turkey are strategic partners whose peoples are linked by historical, cultural and linguistic proximity. Taking into account the great experience of Mehmet Nuri Ersoy in the development of tourism business, Ambassador Omuraliyev invited him to visit Kyrgyzstan in August this year, both as a minister and as the largest investor in tourism, and to participate in the closing ceremony of the event “Osh, the cultural capital of the Turkic world” in November this year.
