A UK (UK) based organisation, Starlight Global is positive concerning the growth prospects of the neighborhood tourism industry and contains pledged to work closely with the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) in boosting tourists traffic from source markets including the USA, the united kingdom, Jamaica and canada.
With over 90% of Jamaica’s population being blacks, the national country looks more African.
Jamaicans have a solid reference to the motherland and for the 35 Jamaicans who have been on a familiarisation tour of Zimbabwe facilitated by ZTA and Starlight Global, the visit was more of a homecoming ceremony.
The group had to be able to sample a number of the popular places of interest in Zimbabwe such as Hwange National Park, Matopos and the jaw-dropping Victoria Falls throughout their visit, and concurred that the national country has all it requires to function as leading tourism destination on the continent.
Starlight Global Director, Shanice Lindsay said the tour was designed to give an insight to the Jamaicans on the favorite attractions and pledged the organisation’s resolve to work closely with the ZTA in boosting tourists’ traffic into Zimbabwe.
“We have been positive concerning the growth prospects of Zimbabwe’s tourism industry. There’s have to unlock forward the potential and going, we will deepen our partnership with the ZTA to advertise destination Zimbabwe,” she said.
The UK based organisation, that was established in 1997 to empower Africans by way of a selection of cultural and economic programmes, announced plans to market agribusiness and business investment in Zimbabwe also.
