Ukraine has S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems. A delegation folks and Israeli officials has visited Ukraine to review S-300 complexes recently, Soha News, a Vietnamese publication reports.
Syria to guard itself with Russia’s S-300
The delegation folks and Israeli officials paid a trip to Ukraine after Russia delivered S-300 missile systems to Syria following tragic shoot down of the Ilyushin Il-20 spy plane. Kiev convinced representatives of the delegation that Ukrainian S-300 systems were no not the same as Russian ones, the publication said.
According to Soha News, the visit to Ukraine was successful, because Israeli and US officials discovered that F-35 Lightning II fighters, if necessary, should be able to deal with Syrian or Russian S-300 systems deployed on the territory of Syria.
