However, this concept has a broader meaning and extends to virtually all areas of human life: food, clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, and services. For many people in the world the concept of halal is now associated not so much with religion as with safe products that do not contain harmful substances and GMOs, are environmentally friendly, and have high quality control in production. The most important advantage of introducing and certifying this system is the possibility of a serious expansion of exports and sales markets. At the same time, experts of Horwath HTL say, the implementation of this standard does not cause serious difficulties and does not entail large expenses. To implement the system, an enterprise must have a food safety management system. It is also necessary to adhere to certain requirements, which include the use of only authorized food products in the manufacture and high standards for food purity.
