Harare – Did not retire. Didn’t name a heir. Didn’t cut down on his foreign take a trip despite Zimbabwe’s crippling cash turmoil.

DRC resistance activists released

Kinshasa – Nineteen pro-democracy activists caught during a protest against the Democratic Republic of Congo’s president Joseph Kabila were released on Tuesday, their particular organisation and an UN official mentioned.

“Lucha confirms that will 18 comrades arrested during a sit-in Goma (in eastern DRC) on December 21… were launched on Tuesday, ” the resistance movement’s Ghislain Muhiwa said.

“Another Lucha activist, Gloria Senga, who had been kidnapped on Dec 18 in Kinshasa, has also been separated, ” he said.

At least 11 dead migrant workers found on Libya beaches

Tripoli – The bodies associated with 11 migrants who died endeavoring to make the perilous journey to European countries have washed up on beaches close to Libya’s capital Tripoli, the Reddish Crescent said on Wednesday.

“Teams from the Tripoli department of the Libyan Red Crescent retrieved 11 bodies washed up close to Tripoli, ” Red Crescent offer Mohannad al-Fallah said.

Diamond ring shame: Grace Mugabe is ‘loveless’, says Catholic clergyman

Cape Town — A Zimbabwean priest has apparently labelled First LadyGrace Mugabe”loveless” intended for “acquiring” a $1. 35m band “at a time when Zimbabweans had been going hungry”.

In accordance toNew Zimbabwe. com, Roman Catholic priest, Father Rungano of Saint Johns Parish said this whilst speaking at a funeral service for the Zimbabwean woman who collapsed during her way from South Africa.

Typhoid outbreak hits Harare, at least one dead

Harare — One person died in the Zimbabwean funds Harare while dozens were hospitalised after cases of suspected typhoid were reported during the Christmas vacations.

Authorities confirmed that certain person died on Monday whilst more than 30 people suspected to get contacted the disease in Harare’s Mbare high density suburb were treated in local hospitals.

Somalia swears in new MPs amid vote criticism

Mogadishu – Somalia on Wednesday swore in new lawmakers right after weeks of voting in a complicated political process seen as its many democratic election in nearly 5 decades, despite significant flaws.

The new parliament was inaugurated under tight security in Mogadishu two months after voting began. Congress are expected to elect a leader by secret ballot, however it had been unclear when that would take place.
