VisitBritain Relaunches Travel Advisor Training Program

VisitBritain has reintroduced its travel advisor training initiative, BritAgent PRO Sales Companion, now featuring improved mobile sales support via TravPRO Mobile, a firm renowned for its expertise in B2B travel technology. This updated program equips travel advisors with the necessary resources to expand their knowledge and successfully market destinations throughout England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

The program comprises four comprehensive Foundation chapters that explore essential attractions, lodging options, events, and experiences throughout the UK. Advisors who successfully complete the course will be awarded a diploma, officially recognizing them as BritAgent PROs. Certified advisors will gain access to the Sales Companion, which encompasses the Retain, Promote, and Sell channels. These resources are specifically designed to support advisors in their sales initiatives by providing access to destination guides, itineraries, and various other materials.

Carl Walsh, Senior Vice President of VisitBritain for the USA, stated: “We are excited to announce the relaunch of the BritAgent PRO Sales Companion™, which offers our North American travel advisors improved training materials and innovative tools to successfully promote and sell the distinctive experiences available in the UK. We understand the significance of providing our travel partners with these essential resources, and we look forward to witnessing the beneficial effects this initiative will have on increasing business to Britain.”

Jonathan Cooper, the Founder and CEO of TravPRO Mobile, states: “We are excited to integrate VisitBritain’s previous Discovery program training course into our offerings. This comprehensive training and sales enablement platform will act as an indispensable resource, equipping travel advisor partners with the expertise needed to effectively sell Britain and providing them with the necessary tools to promote the UK at any time, from any location, and on any device.”
